A 21-year-old man was given a community order for assaulting a man in Sarisbury Green.
Vincent David Gordon Foster pleaded guilty to Fareham magistrates to assaulting Lloyd Tester by beating him on September 29 last year.
Foster of Winchester Road in Rustington, Littlehampton was ordered to carry out 40 hours unpaid work for within the next 12 months.
He also has to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
