A 40-year-old motorcyclist was today (June 10) in a critical condition in hospital after a serious crash in Locks Heath.
The man from Fareham was riding a red Honda motorcycle when he collided with a blue Nissan Micra in Locks Road at 9.15pm on Saturday (June 8).
The rider was seriously injured and taken to Southampton General Hospital.
The driver of the Micra, a 64-year-old man from Warsash, was uninjured.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and are asking anyone who saw the collision or either vehicle prior to it, to call PC Phil Robertson at Fratton Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Physique.
