Letting agency Leaders, which has an office in Sarisbury Green, is giving school children the chance to win £250 for their school plus £50 worth of art equipment for themselves with a drawing competition.

Alison Guyton Leaders’ Marketing Manager said “Over the six years that we’ve been running our drawing competition, we’ve been overwhelmed by the response from the many children who have entered. We’ve been delighted to award more than £5,000 in prizes to local schools and pupils and have had some very worthy winners.

We hope the competition this year will be just as popular and we look forward to seeing what the children come up with.”

This year’s theme for the competition is ‘Draw your home in 30 years’ time’, to tie in with Leaders celebrating its 30th anniversary. It is a chance for children to set their imaginations free on what their future home might look like.

The entries can be in paint, pencil, collage, crayon and must be no bigger than A4 in size.  The deadline for entry is Friday May 17 and the winners will be notified and announced by the end of May.

Children aged between 4 and 11 years old are invited to enter the competition. There will be two categories, ages 4-7 years and 8-11 years. There will also be a number of runner-up prizes.

To take part in the competition, please send your artwork (no bigger than A4 size) to Leaders Marketing Department, Surrey House, 46 Commercial Way, Woking, Surrey, GU21 6HW. Full name, age, contact telephone number, parent’s email address and the name of the school you attend must be written clearly on the back.

The winning illustrations may be considered for use in future posters, leaflets and other promotional material produced by Leaders. It will not be possible to return artwork.
