An inquest into the death of a Park Gate car dealer has been opened and adjourned.

Graham Lowe, who was a director of Cars of Swanwick in Bridge Road, was discovered dead in his burned car last Tuesday (February 12) morning.
Winchester Assistant Deputy Coroner Mrs Sarah Whitby opened and adjourned the inquest into Mr Lowe’s death, with the possible cause as full body third degree burns.
Firefighters were called to deal with a car fire in Windmill Lane at Bursledon and only after they had extinguished the blaze they realised a man was inside the vehicle.
It took 13 firefighters to put out the flames and stop them spreading to the nearby house and another car.
Police said they were not treating Mr Lowe’s death as suspicious.
