Locks Heath Pumas will go into this weekend’s match against Overton brimming with confidence despite some recent results.
The match sees the Pumas travel to title chasing Overton in their Snows Group Hampshire Two fixture.
Locks Heath have lost their last two matches against league leaders Solent University and more recently a 23-14 defeat to an in form Fawley side.
Their opponents, Overton, sit in second place in the league table, and lie just four points behind Solent University who occupy top spot.
Overton have scored 535 points so far this season with a points difference of 320 showing they can score and don’t tend to concede many points.
And that shows in their recent performances with a 27-3 win over title rivals Ventnor and a 50-7 victory over Alresford.
These results have helped Overton win their last five matches and put them in contention for the title itself.
The match sees Locks Heath Pumas host Overton on Saturday February 16. Kick off is at 2.15pm.
